Hello and welcome to

My name is Rick Blackmon and I am a computer geek! I have worked on computers since 1957. Wow!! That is over 1/2 century!

I retired from IBM after 42 years. During my career with IBM, I worked on computers, taught IBM employees to work on them, managed those that worked on them and managed those that programmed them. In my last job with IBM, I managed a group of Technical Writers on a government contract with IBM.

Since my IBM retirement, I have sold computers for Gateway Computers, Computer City, and Best Buy. For awhile, I was even a personal computer consultant. Needless to say, I like computers. My family considers me to be their Tech Support.
